   Failure's Island is an open and free public meeting which will take place at one of the starting points of 14th St during Art in Odd Places Festival 2014: FREE. Here, a discussion about the idea of failure will be engaged by active participants. The artists will lead a public gathering at the center of the Greenstreet's triangle, where 14th St starts and intersects with 10th Ave and The High Line. Everybody is invited to participate and join the discussion in this temporary occupation. It is an attempt to re-think values in crisis such as place, democracy and public. There will be no distribution or use of props, and no alteration to the Greenstreet's triangle. The artists will suggest the shape of an informal talk and will give complete control to the audience. This event is 100% participatory and the outcome is unexpected.
